Public Lands include a vast array of parks, preserves, refuges, habitats and recreation areas.

Explore and learn about some of the 560 National Wildlife Refuges in the U.S. There is at least one WLR in every state and some have many. Create art, write a short story, or a book or poetry that features some aspect of a National Wildlife Refuge. The Chugach Arts Council will produce an art book and another of art and stories. Links to your websites, books and art are available to members.

Be thinking about and learning about the Public Lands or NWR in your area or your favorite.
